The Library is Open - 01/23

Rory sleepily made her way into the library, coffee in hand, and took her seat behind the desk.

Sure, "happy" or "awake" wouldn't be very apt descriptions today. But really, did that matter?

[ooc: Wait for my OCD, yo. And OCD threads are up, yay.]

Parker sighed. "Please. I'm going to have to apologize to Jarod afterward anyway, and have several shooters before I sing. But moral support would be appreciated." She glared at the phone. "I wish they'd call so I could demand they give me proof they *have* Esme. For all I know, she's escaped and is trying to get home by now!"

"Poor little Esme. I'm sure they wouldn't let her get out. That would be, y'know, suicide. For them."

"Got that right," Parker growled. "They better be feeding her enough. And keeping her box somewhere quiet. She can't sleep if it's too loud! Bunnies nap all the time, and wake up at sunset." She grimaced. "She's going to need bunny therapy after this. All because someone wants to embarass me!" She shook her head. "Tell me something cheerful? I've got too long to wait until tonight."

"All right. Once upon a time, there was a bunny named Esme. Some people kidnapped her because they thought it would be funny. But then her mommy got her back, and her mommy and her Auntie Zero kicked the people who stole her's arses allll the way to the mainland, and Esme was very happy. The end." Zero paused. "How's that for cheerful?"

"They should tell that story every year at Easter." Parker grinned. "Or they will be, once we're through with them."
