Library, 1/16

A subdued and somewhat red-eyed Angela opens the library at the start of second period and props herself behind the collections desk. She casts a glance at the pile of books to be sorted; she'll get to them eventually.

And then she just sits there, staring into space and thinking.

She has her head buried in her hands, but she would be more alert if someone came in. Probably.

"Demons," Bel said flatly, but he met Parker's eyes steadily. "Demons kill witches. But the three who attacked her won't be hurting anyone again." He shifted in his seat and winced a little at the movement. "She should be getting out of the clinic this afternoon. She'll be in the South Attic after that, and I'm sure she'd love visitors."

Parker nodded stiffly. Two plus two equalled Bel killing other demons to protect Phoebe, or at least putting them out of commission. Saying so aloud wouldn't do anyone any favors, though. "I see." She folded her arms. "I think I'll stop by, then. I've been disagreeing with her about a lot of things, lately, but I wouldn't want her hurt for the world."

"Neither would I," Bel said. "Seems like we have something in common after all."

And wasn't that an unnerving thought. "So it seems." She bit her lip, then said, "I'll see you later, then. Probably at Phoebe's," and turned to walk away before the conversation became less than civil.
