The P.A. crackles to life.

"I hate all of you.

One, the Pool is closed for sanitary purposes. It shall be scrubbed, bleached, deloused, de-cootie-ified, and disinfected. In addition, all the tile shall be ripped up and replaced. This will take some time, so the pool will not be available for use until... Monday.

Two, on a note that follows similar to one. Han Solo, Maia Rutledge, James Ford, Lana Lang, and John Sheppard will all report to detention this weekend. You people disgust me with your filthy behavior and improper use of public school facilities. Mister Solo, you will now be serving another detention. Congratulations on becoming a regular customer.

Three, TAships and independant studies counting, ten is now the limit for school class involvement. Over-achievers disgust me as well. Efficiency is running at a capacity you can handle.

Four, I will be absent from my office today. I am going to buy myself a new tie on the mainland, and I am having a new desk installed. Complaints can go elsewhere today.

Don't get naked in public. Good day, students."

[ooc: Yes, 10 is now the upwards limit of classes, TAs and Independant Studies counting. 3 is the minimum, 10 is the maximum. And I disappear for today until approx 5 pm CST, sadly, so no Smith on campus today.

Lana hears the school announcements and drops her head into her hands. Great. Not even through the first week of school and she has the second detention of her life. Her mouth quirks up into a smile. It was kind of worth it though. And she wonders idly just how much trouble the group of them are going to manage to get into closed up together for an entire day.

Paige hears the announcement and is actually pretty happy Sawyer's been given detention, to say she's unhappy about him doing this is an understatement.

Anders hears the announcement and isn't sure how to feel about the fact that he and the Strip Triad gang aren't the only ones who've been busted for public nudity on campus any more.

Zero wakes up enough to wonder what the squall happened in the pool and decide she's not going near there again any time in the foreseeable future, even after the tile has been replaced, as whatever it was sounds...ew. Then she rolls over and goes back to sleep. Ahhh, days without classes.

Maia heard the announcement and groaned. She stared at the alarm clock, she hadn't even gone to sleep yet.

Shep shrugged at the detention. Yeah, okay, they pushed some boundaries... the boudaries were pushing back. He honestly had no problem with that.

Closing and scrubbing the pool, however, mystified him. The water passed through your swimsuit anyway... and it wasn't like they'd gotten far enough along for any... non omni-present fluids to be introduced. Of course, it was possible that the principal wasn't looking for details like that. And for that Shep was quite grateful.

Janet started wondering about the pool. Had Sunshine had squid babies in there or something? She decided she really didn't want to know.

But she was fairly certain Principal Smith needed psychoactive medication. And possibly anger management training. Not that she was going to be the one to suggest that to him, of course.

Chloe wasn't quite sure what Lana had done to get in trouble, but filthy behavior and improper use of facilities sounded very impressive.
