The Library Is Open - 12/19

Methos looks like he hasn't slept, and possibly has been hit by a 2 x 4 somewhere along the way.

He's working on translating the text that came for him several weeks ago, making notes in a spiral-bound notebook. If you were, say, Daniel Jackson, you might recognize the notes as sort of a bastard Medieval Latin, heavily abbreviated.

Did we mention the not-good-mood?

Parker snorted. "There's an INS for puppies? What did you lace your blood with this morning, dandelion dust?"

"From the library," Angel said, making a face at her. "I assume pets aren't allowed near the books?"

"Oooh, yeah. Zero would at least feel forced to try and corral him, probably. He can't be comfortable in there," she said, tilting her head.

"I should probably take him for a run or something," Angel agreed. There was a pause before he added, "You know, indoors. For now."

"Damn. And I was hoping you'd have to have someone else chase him all over town," Parker said, smirking. "How is it you can commit to a puppy, who has no idea why you can't go in the sun, but you can't commit to dating anyone?"

Angel opened and closed his mouth a few times. Finally, in what sounded lame even to him, he tried, "Because it's a puppy?"

"Uh-hunh." Grinning, Parker stroked a finger down Sean's nuzzle then patted him on the head. "Go. Have fun with your new bestest buddy. Just don't think I'm not still mocking you, even when you're not here."

"I find I save a lot of time when I assume your mockery of me as a given," Angel replied with a grin. "Catch you later, Parker."
