The Library Is Open - 12/19

Methos looks like he hasn't slept, and possibly has been hit by a 2 x 4 somewhere along the way.

He's working on translating the text that came for him several weeks ago, making notes in a spiral-bound notebook. If you were, say, Daniel Jackson, you might recognize the notes as sort of a bastard Medieval Latin, heavily abbreviated.

Did we mention the not-good-mood?

"Hey, O'Neil. I've got packages (http://www.whatonearthcatalog.com/whatonearth/T-Shirts_1AG/Wit-Humor_1EF/Item_They-Say-I-Have-ADD-Shirts_AP5661G_ps_cti-1EF.html) for you (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000063TML/qid=1134947216/br=1-12/ref=br_lf_t_12//104-3302011-8210324?v=glance&s=toys&n=725776)."

"They aren't bombs are they? Because I said I was sorry about the shoes and all..."

"No, no. And considering all the goodies you gave me when I was sick, I'm way behind here. Open them." She grinned.

Jack still lookes somewhat scared but opened the packages anyway.

"Oh these are awesome! I'm wearing the shirt tomorrow and playing this," Jack waved the game in the air, "during every free second I have."

"I'd hug you but... well, you kinda scare me. So in place of touchy-feely things I send waves of greatfullness and happy-giddyness in your general direction. I don't have your gifts yet though because I ticked the wrong box on the order-thingee. But I'm almost positive everything should be here before the next Zombie Weekend."

Parker snorted. "Hey, I'm still getting miles of fun out of your last over-indulgence of your General relative's card. It's all good. But I saw the shirt, and thought of you. Couldn't resist."

"Ah, aren't cranky soon-to-be-poor relatives just the best? The only thing that would make the shirt better is if it came with a piece of tinfoil for maximum distraction." Jack thought for a moment before he came to a decision.

"Actually, you know what? Why wait?" Jack asked rhetorically, before pulling off his shirt and changing into his gift right there in the library. "There. Heh, much better."

Parker wolf-whistled. "And my goal to have half the guys in school wearing shirts I bought them is brought one step closer. Yay."

"Glad to be of help."
