The Library Is Open - 12/19

Methos looks like he hasn't slept, and possibly has been hit by a 2 x 4 somewhere along the way.

He's working on translating the text that came for him several weeks ago, making notes in a spiral-bound notebook. If you were, say, Daniel Jackson, you might recognize the notes as sort of a bastard Medieval Latin, heavily abbreviated.

Did we mention the not-good-mood?

Jake turned, happily clutching his gifts from Parker. "I... don't know. I mean, I like having minions... but I also like having Sundays."

"I was a minion?" Angela says, a small smile crossing her face. "You didn't tell me that, or I so wouldn't have signed up."

"I can see why you guys would want to get your Sundays back, definitely."

"Oh you so were," Jake nodded, grinning. He frowned. "I guess you were mostly Chloe's minion though. And, I dunno. It'd be weird being in Journalism without the professor."
chasingangela: (dorky smile)

"See, I can be Chloe's minion. She's a senior and stuff."

She tucks hair behind one ear. "I'm gonna miss him. And that cat. Good teachers leave way too often, in general."

"The cat scared the hell out of me, but yeah." Jake paused. "...Dude, I wonder if he remembered to leave our grades with the Dean..."

"The cat was freakish, but it was kind of fun watching it stalk the frogs. Disgusting, but not un-fun."

She rubs her forehead. "I hope he dropped off our grades. I mean, talking to Barbossa was fun and all, but I still kind of wanted to get credit for it. Not to mention the ninety other things he made us write."

Jake snorted. "Yeah. Well, I am going to pray to all the gods I can think of, and then I guess we'll see. I mean, he did do his job here and all, but he did go on one hell of a bender, too."

"If he didn't turn them in, everyone gets an A, right?" Angela tries to joke, looking a little anxious. "I mean, that should be, like, the law."

"And yeah, he did his job. Better than some of the other teachers, even. But I'll be praying right with you."

"...Again, I have no idea. Me and Krycek were TAs, maybe we could hand out grades if - gods, each and every one of them, forbid - Spider didn't leave any," Jake mused. Then he scowled. "Although I hope not. I am not going through those bloody class tapes again."

"Not to mention reading many hundred-word essays from each of us. And counting the words."

Angela shakes her head, more grateful than ever that she hadn't applied for an assistant position.

"But it's like you said, Mr. Jerusalem did his job. I bet he'll email grades to you guys, or something, wherever he is."
