Methos looks like he hasn't slept, and possibly has been hit by a 2 x 4 somewhere along the way.

He's working on translating the text that came for him several weeks ago, making notes in a spiral-bound notebook. If you were, say, Daniel Jackson, you might recognize the notes as sort of a bastard Medieval Latin, heavily abbreviated.

Did we mention the not-good-mood?

As the library is always comforting, Lee comes in, smelling of freshly made bread as he made loaves of bread all night long, omg, and reads quietly.

Janet waves. "Are you done with classes?" she asks.

"I got a poem to write for my poetry class and I think that's about it," he says cheerfully as he's glad to see Janet.

"That's an easy assignment," said Janet. "How long does the poem have to be?" She grins, glad to see Lee's in a better mood this week.

"Ah, six stanzas and it's a sestina so it's going to be difficult. However, I've discovered a cheeky way to write it, so massive grins there But I love a challenge," he says. "How's it going here in the library?"

"How long is a sestina?" asked Janet. "Or what is it, rather? Creative writing, ah, isn't my strong point." To put it mildly. Now you're going to have to share after you post it. "Quietly so far, which is nice."

She pulled a nicely-wrapped box out from under the Collections Desk and brought it out to Lee. "I didn't see you last night, and you usually spend some time here, so I thought I'd bring your Christmas present out now."

Oh, yeah, the sestina. My mun plans to google it. I already finished mine. And anyway, I'm pretty sure my grade in that class is shot. I don' have enough discipline.

Lee tries not to look jealous that Zero has her poem already written. "I need to get that frakin' thing done," he half-moans.

"Don't worry, Lee," said Janet. "Everyone's doing at least one project at the last minute. Or nearly everyone, anyway."
