Investigator's Club Meeting - 2pm

At 2pm, Parker put up a sign on the door of the library:

Investigator's Club meeting
ALL WELCOME
Yes, there are cookies.

By the sign-in sheet there is an application to be in the club. Take one and turn it in to m.parker@fandomhigh.net by next Friday. Applications will be considered by club advisors and officers.

On the applications are the following:

Jake sits down and starts doodling on the back of the form. He's snagged a couple of cookies to go with his coffee.

"Hey Jake," Parker perched on the chair next to him. "Glad you could make it after all."

"Hey Parker," Jake waved his pencil at her in hello.

Krycek looks at his application rather blankly, still not quite sure what he's doing here.

Cameron looks at his application with a rather similar stare. He's not exactly the investigating type and doesn't know magic. "I don't suppose we can sign up for grunts?"

Parker smirks. "Hey, we're here to learn, right? So yeah, volunteer the muscle for whatever you're interested in. Rotate. We're not locked into this."

"I'm all muscle for the good cause, Parker. Just not that much brains," Cameron grins and writes down 'grunt work' on the application form.

Xander, tapping his eraser on his own application ~~in a way that was not remotely indicative of Twinkie-induced hyperactivity~~, glanced at his own arms, and snorted. "I don't know about the muscle part, but that's pretty much me too. I know just enough about magic not to get freaked out by it happening, just enough about science to go 'Ooh, fizzbang, pretty,' and ...pretty much squat about investigating. But I can carve a mean wooden stake."

"No idea," Krycek says, shrugging slightly. "I didn't even know I was applying until just now."

"It does look very official," Cameron snickers and writes over the g in 'grunts'. "Someone roped you into it?"

"Hey, Krycek." Parker wanders over as he's staring at the application. "Thanks for coming. Jake talked you into it, I'm assuming."

He looks up at Parker, glad to see someone who no doubt has some idea what's going on. "Parker. Ah, not really. He just sort of dragged me here from class." Krycek gives Jake a sideways glance, though the latter continues just to doodle on his own application distractedly. "So what's this about?"

"Basically, we're just trying to investigate some of the *weirder* things around school. Gremlins, obviously. Locker 327. We're also trying to keep an eye on the more dangerous types, like Angel, Malfoy, and Belthazor, and have contingency plans in place any of them go on a rampage." She cocked her head. "Considering how many people you've dragged to the infirmary this semester, I was hoping you'd want to get in on preventing it rather than clean-up."

Rory remained curled up in the back. She totally wasn't trying to escape Parker's notice. Not at all.

Cameron plops down in a chair near Rory and looks at her. "Yo."

"Hi," Rory replied, smiling. "What's new, Cameron?"

He considered it for a moment. "My moose boxers are new, but I don't think that's what you meant."

Parker smirked at her. "Helloooo, Gilmore. Anakin didn't want to attend?"

"I don't know where Anakin is," Rory sighed. "I don't keep tabs on him. We're just friends."

"Are you in denial, or just blind? I'm just friends with Jack Harkness. You and Anakin are *friends*."

Logan sat down next to Veronica. "Hey," he said.

"Hey," she said with a faint smile. "Did you get your journalism final turned in?"

Logan groaned. "I have until midnight," he said. "You?"
