Library (12/15/05)

Janet opens up the library after the omg, posted late, noes! Criminal Justice final. She flips on the lights, goes behind the Collections Desk, and starts silently cursing the stupid little gray aliens that sent her back to high school, finals, the whole concept of papers and the grading system in place in the United States today.

She scrawls out a sign on a piece of paper and posts it on the door:

PLEASE TURN IN YOUR OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS
BEFORE THE END OF THE TERM

(OR WE'LL SEND ZERO AFTER YOU
WITH HER MALLET)

I stopped by, but I think I missed that bit. I suppose I can hope.

*shudders* Did anyone ever find out what that was about? I was in my room studyin' all night.+

Angela rolls her eyes. "Apparently Cole - Belthazor -- you know, glary demon guy -- cast a love spell on Angel to try to break the curse and it made him, um, hit on everything that moved, and I bet some things that didn't. Marty ended up knocking him out with a cricket bat to keep things from going too far."

"He's fine today. Supposedly."

Isn't puttin' spells on people against the, y'know. Rules?

Angela raises her eyebrows. "I think so," she says. "But so is knocking people out with cricket bats. And slapping, and Veronica Mars slapped Marty."

She tilts her head to one side. "I don't know. Do you want to drag a demon to the principal's office? Though with Bristow, it would, like, be a fair fight."

I'm not involved in the situation, so I don' know whether I'd be allowed to bring a complaint or not. Otherwise I'd say sure, bring it on.

"I'm not really involved either, unless you count Angel being kind of creepily friendly at me in newspaper. I'll ask Marty."
