Library (12/15/05)

Janet opens up the library after the omg, posted late, noes! Criminal Justice final. She flips on the lights, goes behind the Collections Desk, and starts silently cursing the stupid little gray aliens that sent her back to high school, finals, the whole concept of papers and the grading system in place in the United States today.

She scrawls out a sign on a piece of paper and posts it on the door:

PLEASE TURN IN YOUR OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS
BEFORE THE END OF THE TERM

(OR WE'LL SEND ZERO AFTER YOU
WITH HER MALLET)

"Damnit." Parker scowled. "I hate when you have a point. We need to bring that up at I-Club. Maybe an early warning system; Miss Calendar might have some ideas. We can't run to Lorne every time we worry about Fangs' soul, and Bridge Carson would need back-up if we started asking him to do spot checks."

"Yeah," Parker said, wincing. "Although I'm assuming he would've started killing us, spell or no spell, if the curse worked. He just would've been hitting on the victims before he broke their necks."

"So he could alert everyone that he's Mr. Psychopath and end up in the dustbin? I don't think so. He screwed with everyone's minds for a good three months before he killed anyone. I'm sure he'll take his time again if he came back."
