Zero opens the library and settles in at the Collections Desk with her math book propped open in front of her.

Before heading to Phale's, Marty stops into the library. He has a stern look on his face and looks very agitated.

"Zero? Have you seen Parker or Angel?"

After talking with Angel, Marty track down Parker.

"Parker? Big problem. One of the sister witches had a premonition about Angelus coming back. Veronica gave me the heads up this morning. We think Bel-boy is going to cast a spell. I don't suppose you can give me any info on what books he's checked out of the library?"

"Crap. Premonitions? Are they accurate? Had anyone checked the guy already?" She put her purse down. "Bridge Carson can check it too, now, as well as Lorne." Parker made a face. "I can't tell you anything more than I did-- I checked the rules, and I can't go into the check-out records to verify anything. I can just tell you that I *saw* him check out a book on soul magic. I don't even know if it would help him do what he wants."

"It's enough that he knows about and has a book on the subject. I'm taking Angel to Caritas tonight to make sure he's still Angel and then I'm going to be running around town trying to figure out what spell components Belthatzor might have been buying."

Marty sighed.

"Veronica is going to be checking in on Tara to make sure she's secure and talking with that Buffy girl to see what she knows about the last time Angel had his big happy. I better get a move on and make it to Phale's."

"Be careful. I doubt it's happened yet, but I really wish he'd just glow orange or something when the demon slips its leash." Parker grimaced. "Yeah, find out about the 'big happy'. Hairboy hasn't been too forthcoming, aside from 'love plus sex equals demon nightmare.'"
