Zero opens the library and settles in at the Collections Desk with her math book propped open in front of her.

"I need to talk to Parker about something else. Bel's up to something and it sounds like it's going to happen soon."

Well, I don' know where she is. But I'm sure she'll be in soon, if you want to wait. Or you could come back?

Marty nods. "I'll wait for her. How are you recovering from the Chicago trip?"

Reasonably, I guess. We made a shop clerk cry.

"Why am I not surprised?"

*smirk* Because you know us? Poor thing made the mistake of assumin' we weren' for real. Missed out on the commission an' everythin'.

"I'd feel pity for the guy if I wasn't so sure Parker beat the crap out of him and left him for dead in some alley someplace."
