The Big Show! Pageant Time!

Janine sets up the ticket booth outside the doors of the theater while Marshall runs the final tech check on the lights and sound equipment. This is going to be the best Holiday Pageant ever!

Rory continued to shimmy.

As provocatively as one can, when one is dressed as a tree.

Bridge dances around Rory, bouncing a few feet into the air with every step.

John slips his moon shoes on and starts bouncing around Rory and he might even start doing Rockette like legs kicks.

*DEATH, if he had a larynx and pulmonary system, would be hissing. He does not, so instead the Voice just seems slightly muted from behind the curtain.*

Bridge quickly glances towards the side of the stage and mouths "sorry!" before doing the Jazz Hands as he continues to dance-bounce.

Rory tentatively bounced a few times, and smiled.

She enthusiastically kicked off the ground, and bounced a little higher.

There are many advantages to being an above-averaged-heighted girl.

The fact that her height caused Rory to bump her head on a low-hanging stage light did not make her happy, however.

"DAMN IT!"

She blushed. "I mean. Darn it. I mean..." She blushed deeper, and scowled, rubbing the top of her head.

*DEATH noticed the lack of jazz hands in her bounce.*

Bridge bounces over to Rory and elbows her, "KID'S SHOW!" he hisses.

And Christmas feels like THIS- flail- and Jaye feels like a big IDIOT- skip- and what did she do to DESERVE this- twitch- and she doesn't remember what they PRACTICED- shimmy...

Anakin copied Jaye's movements.

He was fairly sure he was the first Jedi ever to be doing something this stupid in public while sober.

He might've just made a new record in the long-term sulking Olympics.

Jaye might be a little too close to Anakin, Rory, or anyone else when she did her most recent flail-kick-grand mal seizure.

Anakin, too busy trying to move the lights over Rory, didn't notice that Jaye had switched to high kicks.

Until he got booted in the ass.

"OW!" he yelped.

"Oh, God! Sorry!" she cries, clapping a hand over her mouth.

She turns to the audience and jazz handses. And flails some more, not in Anakin's direction.

"Not a problem," Anakin muttered. "Our dance instructor probably loved it. Give a sense of meance to the holiday season."

He skipped off down the stage.

Sullenly.

And of course it would be just Anders's luck to be in reach of Jaye's flailing foot, wouldn't it?

Well, at least he's got an excuse if he forgets the jazz hands for the rest of the number.

Also, more of a reason to scowl, really.

Jaye winces again. "Sorry!" she says.

And jazz handses at him.

The jazz hands Anders gives Jaye in return are not so much "jazz" hands as they are "the type of music you'd hear in a movie just before an execution scene" hands.

"OW, Jaye," Rory yelped. She clutched her nose, which stung after being whacked by Jaye's arm.

"Jesus freaking Christ!" Jaye says, not realizing the inappropriateness in the heat of the ow-causing. "Sorry!"

More jazz handsing. A little less provocatively, though.

Callisto started shimmying towards the side of the stage.

*DEATH begins motioning her back with his scythe*

Callisto glared and started to shimmy back, annoyed she wasn't wearing the robe part of the costume for this, it was heavy but it would have hid the shimmying.

Angel danced with Callisto, his hand holding a near death grip on her arm. "Still say we could kill each other," he muttered under his breath. He had the look of someone who was counting out dance steps in his head. And was still off-beat anyway.

*DEATH can be heard calling from off stage, jazz handing at them.*

"Ow, Angel, arm, circulation." Callisto winced and attempted to shimmy to the left.
