The Big Show! Pageant Time!

Janine sets up the ticket booth outside the doors of the theater while Marshall runs the final tech check on the lights and sound equipment. This is going to be the best Holiday Pageant ever!

Callisto glared and started to shimmy back, annoyed she wasn't wearing the robe part of the costume for this, it was heavy but it would have hid the shimmying.

Angel danced with Callisto, his hand holding a near death grip on her arm. "Still say we could kill each other," he muttered under his breath. He had the look of someone who was counting out dance steps in his head. And was still off-beat anyway.

"Ow, Angel, arm, circulation." Callisto winced and attempted to shimmy to the left.

"Highly overrated," Angel told her. He stumbled on one of the moves. "I should know."

"If you have to grip onto something, try something without nerve-endings? Like the costume."

Callisto flailed, with jazz hand.

"Oh for the love of - " Angel rolled his eyes. Then let go of Cal's arm, jazz handed, then gripped her costume.

Then he tripped again.

Amazingly, still with jazz hands.

As Angel fell there was a loud ripping sound as the seams of the top half of Callisto's ninja outfit gave way.

"Eep!"

There was a look of pleasure horror on Angel's face as Callisto cried out. He was startled enough to stumble his stumbling, then tried to right himself so that he could lend Callisto a hand with her wardrobe malfunction.

Unfortunately Angel did this with his actual hands, which really isn't a smart idea for anybody.

Callisto looked at Angel, then looked down at Angel's hands. "Excuse me," she ground out.

There was a far too long pause before Angel got it. The sort of pause that would result in a vampire losing his ability to have children, if he had such an ability to begin with Shhh, don't tell him! s3's a surprise! He jerked his hands off of Callisto as though he'd just been burned, then tried to think of something to say.

"Oh! Um! I!" Angel stammered. Ironically, he got those three sounds out far more on-key for "White Christmas" than he would during his later solo.

Callisto quickly crossed her arms over her chest and attempted to flee the stage.

Unfortunately her exit was marred by the fact her heel was caught on something.

Angel could understand Callisto's urge to flee, he really could.

Unfortunately her heel was caught on his pant leg.

And the costume wasn't that sturdy.

There was a loud ripping sound.

Far too late Angel thought that perhaps he really should've worn the boxer shorts tonight.

Callisto turned back to look at what had ripped.

And continued looking.

Because of shock.

Unfortunately being room temperature meant it took too long before you noticed a cool breeze.

Once having done so, Angel immediately put his hands in front of himself.

"Um - pants? Back? Now?"

"Huh? Oh, uh, pants." Making sure that one arm was still firmly planted across her breasts, Callisto reached down and pulled Angel's pants free. Before tossing them over with regret.

"Thank you." Angel wrapped the pants around himself in a manner not unlike that of a skirt.

It wasn't much, but it'd do in a pinch.

He began to back off stage.

Only one jazz hand.

Callisto followed as quickly as she could without drawing even more attention.

No jazz hands.
