Janet unlocks the library and flips on the lights.

Sitting on the Collections Desk is a package addressed to "Adam Pierson." The envelope is embossed with an unusual symbol, the meaning of which Janet didn't know. Except she did, because she steamed open the last envelope that came with that symbol on it. But she couldn't do that to this package without getting caught. And that was really starting to bug her.

She moved the package behind the Collections Desk and glared at it until the first library patron showed up.

Methos pulls on a pair of dragonhide gloves (stopping to boggle at the concept) and starts cataloging a stack of some of the more dangerous-looking books. The package from the Watchers lays off to the side, and he glances at it occasionally. But the library work comes first.

Wesley, now in his right persona, storms in from the stacks, a book clutched tight in his arms. "This should not be in the stacks!"

OOC: Dude, you're not getting into the librarian's office without getting past the Collections Desk.

The assistants are all at the Collections Desk. And three of them--guess which ones--don't look happy today. Just so you know.

OOC: I hope you've arranged this with someone (preferably Methos-mun), as not everyone here has a clue what's going on, and the library staff has final OOC call on what books are where.

"Over here, Pryce," says Janet, sounding both bored and irritated. She's pointing at a spot on the desk. "Put it down here and remember on an OOC level that the library staff decides what books are where and you should clear this with us via e-mail first and we'll take a look at it.

((In other words, it's great that you cleared it with Methos; however, Methos isn't the only one who deals with problems. And if Wes--or anyone--comes shouting that there is a problem, we're all going to leap in on that. Because we all respond to problems IC, and part of our jobs as library assistants is to make sure that Methos does as little work as possible.))
