The librarian looks roughly like he's been run over by a truck. And not in a fun way.

He is Not In A Good Mood. Wise students will look out.

So, um....*Zero tucks her hair behind her ear and glances around before leaning in* I've got a problem an' I don' know what to do.

"What's wrong?" asks Janet, very quietly. "I'll help if I can. You know that."

So, um. I turned into a cat last night, right? An' I went to Parker's room to hide out. I was nappin' under her bed when...oh, hell, Janet.

*whispers* Parker's squallin' so-called boyfriend broke into her room and bugged the place.

"He what?" Janet's lips compressed and her eyes narrowed. "That Michael guy? Wait, wasn't someone bugging her place before the Student Council elections? And she swore it was Angelus."

"I think we need to find out a bit more about Michael."

((Sorry, busy day at work. Am here! Just slowish.))

Yeah. He didn' know I was there, but--squall, Janet, this is completely outside my experience.

Maybe we could do, I don' know, a background check?

"That's the first step," says Janet. Hell. "You know anyone nearby who can do a background check?"

((I'm fairly sure someone mentioned to me who was going to be doing the background check for this. Jarod, right?))

No squallin' clue. And...*rubs at her eyes* I called my brother to find out what they were while I was still in the room. So they recorded that and now I'm, well, scared.

"I know some people, but it may take a couple of days," said Janet. "We'll find out what he's up to, and we'll stop him."

"Did you tell Parker anything yet?"

*shakes her head* Not yet. I don' know what to tell her. I mean, if it was one of my sibs I could say, "Hey, your boyfriend's a flink an' he's bugged your room," and they'd ditch him. But I don' know how she'd handle it.

"We have to tell her. And I can e-mail my friend about the background check." Janet frowned. "I think she's in Special Collections with Angela now. ~~And there's all the other stuff that's going to happen while we're slowplaying this.~~ We'll tell her tomorrow. ~~Or as soon as we can arrange it IRL.~~"

Yeah, swerval. As soon as we get a chance. ~~Not to mention I've had time to formulate a conspiracy theory by now.~~

"Good. When will we get a chance? And who do you think could be behind it?"

~~Tonight is bad. I'd like my antibiotics to kick in for a bit. Tomorrow? And conspiracy theory? Yes!~~

I'm not quite sure yet, but I've got a few ideas...

~~She won't form her conspiracy theory until today. We can do it tomorrow in the library, I guess. I hope you feel better!~~
