Methos looks at her sharply, and realizes that she knows exactly what she's asking. "Yes, she is. Someone scared the shit out of her, but the only physical bruises are on her wrists." A pencil in Methos' hand snaps.

Elizabeth's eyes darken and flick towards to the snapped pencil, and then back up to look at Methos. "She's talked to you, then? Last night, she was..." she sighs, and slumps against the doorframe slightly. "Just trying to drink her problems away and not talking."

Methos takes a deep breath. "She... didn't really talk. Just enough so that Ten and I knew that she hadn't been raped so I'd stop trying to drag her to a doctor. And I left the apartment early this morning. She... doesn't need to deal with me like this."

"Okay," Elizabeth replies quietly. "When you next see her, can you tell her..." she pauses, and pushes back her hair. "Just that she knows where I am?"
