The Library is Open - 11/17

Methos is bemusedly staring at his new pet, a salamander -- the kind that lives in fire. He managed to find a glass terranium that can withstand high heat and the salamander is happily ensconced in it. A sign in front of the terranium announces, "Name the Salamander!" and slips of paper, pens and a drop box are immediately to one side.

[Methos bites his lip to avoid saying out loud among impressionable teenagers what he's thinking, but his eyes are dancing.] I would be delighted by a double feature. My apartment or the TARDIS?

Methos levels a stink-eye on Janet. "Janet. Be nice to my girlfriend the Professor. Or I'll start dropping hints about you and a certain anth --"

Janet's got a very pleased look on her face. She does, however, feel nice enough to pull out a bag of chocolate chip cookies and slip one to Methos.

"Cookie, Professor Cregg?" asks Janet, holding up a bag of chocolte chip cookies and looking like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

No, no...Adam. I have custody of Jack Harkness. I'm his legal guardian for now, until we sort out some...problems.

Janet raises an eyebrow. "Two days in the library, and at least half the conversations I get in are abruptly stopped when CJ and Ten someone decides they need to flirt with you." She shakes her head. "If people are going to ignore me, then I need to get my amusement where I can."
