"What did you have in mind?" Parker said, swiveling around on one of the barstools set up next to the counter. "Modern, ancient, French, Russian...?"

Parker looks thoughtful, then grins. And pulls down Edna St. Vincent Millay, Sylvia Plath, e.e. cummings, and Shel Silverstein.

"The emo, the suicidally emo, the antagonistically and antiauthoritarian emo, and one who's fun." She adds 1000 Best Poems on top of it. "And something to browse through for more ideas."
