Ethics Class #5, Monday, 2-4pm

"Last week we looked at power and responsibility. The first hour is an extension of that. I want you to divide into two groups. If your name has an odd number of letters, you're in Group A." She waves to one side of the classroom to indicate that the group should congregate there. "If your name has an even number of letters," waving to the other side of the classroom, "you're in Group B. Go."

"Not by stealing personalities," Angelus pointed out. "Not by anything save encouraging what was already there, however deep down. Personality rape on the other hand... all you, Buff."

Buffy laughed lightly, her eyes full of amusement.

"Angelus, I'm not the one that messes with other people's personalities. Then again, I'm not the one who was sneaking into the rooms of friends and leaving lovely little messages for them. Considering that you would know more about personality rape than I would..." she let her voice trail off as she shrugged.

"Buff, if you can't tell flirting when you see it it really has been a long time for you," Angelus grinned. "Which comes as a shock to absolutely nobody."

She can't help it, she just can't.

Buffy widened her eyes and placed a hand over her heart. "It must be because you ruined me for all others, Angelus. I got used to the fighting and pissy bitchiness from you that I expect all guys to flirt like that."

Buffy's lips twitched as she tried not to laugh. She had to keep reminding herself that this was Angelus, the man who had taken the love of her life away from her.

Unfortunately, she had to keep forcing herself to remember this because if she didn't, she forgot who he was and just had too much fun in debates like this.

"I can understand that," Angelus replied. "Lord knows sleeping with you nearly put me off women entirely."

Buffy grinned at him. "Since you never had the pleasure, you have no idea about things like that."

"Believe me, Buff," Angelus pointed at his head, "since I've got the breaking of your hymen in full 3D surround sound in my brain, I was there."

Buffy buried the hurt that that comment illicited and smiled sweetly.

"Heard...not felt." She cocked her head. "I've heard you're not really good at making any girl feel anything but shame as you still forget what to do." She grinned. "Then again, Frank told me about one of your pets coming into the shop to question him about his technique and for some pointers for you."

"Would this be the same Frank who vanished under mysterious circumstances right after Kitty died?" Angelus asked. "Or is it some other Frank who I couldn't give a crap about?"
