Ok, we've played games, now let's bring it back...honesty and communication. Tell me what you understand about honesty and it's role as relates to influence, manipulation, friendship, trust and reciprocity? How do we recognize honesty? In what ways do we try to assure the honesty of those we communicate with? And what about body language? Is body language honest?
And now tell me how this fits with sender/message/receiver.

It's hard to recognize honesty in people you don't know, but once you do know them there are things you can look for. If they're acting nervous, not looking you in the eye, tone of voice, stuff like that. Sometimes you can tell with people you don't really know, but it's a lot harder because you don't have past communication to compare with.
