Janet rolled her eyes and looked at Liz. "Please. There are far more interesting things here than amino acids. Besides, didn't you say you needed help with them?"
"Ouch, practically no fun at all when it rains," said Janet. "Though you have to expect that in Colorado Springs this time of year."
"There are lots more interesting things than amino acids, I agree," Elizabeth grinned. "And I do. There are words, and things and they're making no sense to me!"
"I don't mind the rain," she replied, shrugging. "Besides, it wasn't as if we were there to sightsee, y'know?"
"So what's not making sense?" asked Janet. "Let's see what I can help with."
Janet giggled. "Good point. So you had lots of fun, then? Oh, I almost forgot!" She slipped a small baggie of chocolate chip cookies out of her backpack and handed them to Liz. "Don't eat these in the library too obviously. I saved some for you."
