Sarah's at the front desk, staring blankly as she leans over a notebook and clutches her head. Her mind seems to be elsewhere, and it's probably a bad idea to talk to her.

The puppies are back, sleeping in the basket in front of the desk and available for people to cuddle for comfort.

"I'm mostly friends with Draco," Lily laughs. "He's my boyfriend. And Angel is my 'study-buddy' for maths. I can't for the life of me remember how we fell into that, but it's worked to my advantage so far."

"I thought so." Beka smiled at the reference to Draco. Hope you don't mind our subtext much. He's been good lately. Since the whole 'boyfriend' thing happened. "You're the second person I've heard call him Angel. Has he never said anything to you about it? I still can't figure out what to call him except Angelus. And that's a bit of a mouthful at...certain moments.

Well, I really don't have much room to talk there, do I? "No - I've heard other people call him Angelus, but he introduced himself to me as Angel, and it's stuck in my mind. I have wondered about the difference, though."

Well, we're really not official yet. JA OOC and fandomtherapy doesn't count. But I've seen your subtext. I like it. "Interesting. I'll have to ask him about it. He's always been Angelus to me." For a few seconds, she looked lost in thought. Then Angelus's request flashed through her mind. "Oh, I guess I should put your name on my list of attendees. Will you have any special requirements?"

Beka shook her head. "Angelus said he'd take care of that. Some crack about being one of the only ones old enough to do it. He gets that way. Smug. Still, I like him." Smiling again, she said, "Don't tell him I said that, though."
