Sarah's at the front desk, staring blankly as she leans over a notebook and clutches her head. Her mind seems to be elsewhere, and it's probably a bad idea to talk to her.

The puppies are back, sleeping in the basket in front of the desk and available for people to cuddle for comfort.

Duce's grip is firm but not painful as she shakes his hand. Grimacing, she nods, "He can be one relentless, hyperactive motherfucker when the wild hair bites him, that's for sure. Yeah, he and Callisto roped us in too. Not sure what they'll have us doing. Chances are good, not modelling. Unless we have a high population of reptile fetishists, we are not the type of model that would go over well. You, however, will draw crowds." The last part is said as though she's merely stating facts.

Jonathan blushes at that, "I'm just hoping my extreme paleness doesn't cause snowblindness," he tells her in a conspirational whisper, "I'm kind of the indoorsy type."

Duce tilts her head, considering Jonathan for a moment, "How secure are you in your masculinity? Because the gothy-undead-pale look is totally in, so if you went with the dark eyeliner and black lipstick and nail polish combo, and made your hair all spikey.. " A slight smile curves her lips, "Trust us, you definitely won't be blinding anyone. Well, unless that old adage about masturbating too often is actually true. In which case.. you might be to blame."

Sliding into a seat, she nods, "Think so, yeah. Fun class. Drusilla has some... interesting ideas on the concept of sanity."

Jonathan blushes even harder at that, "Well, if it'll look good I'm okay with it, I mean, I want the show to do well so anything I can do to help I'm willing to do."

"I prefer to think of Professor Drusilla as having a unique perspective on Abnormal Psychology," Jonathan explains, "an extremely close perspective, close enough that one might be fooled into thinking that Professor Drusilla and abnormal psych might be synonyms," Jonathan finishes with a smile.

Duce assures, "It'll look good. Just don't do that thing you're doing now, with the blood rushing to your face. That'll totally spoil the 'tude."

Running a hand up through her snakes, idly pushing them back from her face, she comments dryly, "You mean she's queer as a football bat? Yeah. We noticed. However, she is.. interesting. It's almost like teaching us about psychological problems helps her hold her own in check." She pauses for a breath, and says quietly, "We can understand that."

"Got it, blood flow is bad.

She does seem more lucid in class than she seems out of class," Jonathan remarks watching her movements, "are umm, are they sentient?" he asks indicating the snakes on her head with a bob of his chin. He'd been taught that pointing was rude.

Duce quirks a grin and nods. "They are. Sentient in their own right, symbiotic bonding makes.. us." One of the snakes curls along her cheek, almost as though it was petting her. A hand raises to gently push it back with the others. Her shoulder shrugs, "Curse." .. as though that explains everything.
