Sarah's at the front desk, staring blankly as she leans over a notebook and clutches her head. Her mind seems to be elsewhere, and it's probably a bad idea to talk to her.

The puppies are back, sleeping in the basket in front of the desk and available for people to cuddle for comfort.

Paige smiles "Sonia, he was there because he knew you would be, he likes you likes you."

Sonia says nothing for a moment, but her breathing has become somewhat ragged, and her face is flushed red.

She takes a short breath. "Does he? Vell, he has a funny vay of showing it." She leans back and cuddles the puppy closer, startled by Paige's revelation. Just as quickly, though, she moves forward, her eyes flashing. "And he could have damn vell had the decency to say something- leading me on like I vos a fool..." This last comment isn't directed at Paige specifically, and her eyes are slightly narrowed at the floor.

"Gentlemanly? Ha! Yes, that vould explain why we can't have a single conversation vithout him taking offense and the slightest thing I say, and vhy he seems to take such pleasure in irritating me at every opportu-"

She pauses, then puts her face in her hands and groans. "pestele tale...you're right."

She bites her lip and looks at her absently mindly stroking the puppy

"but this is good right? I mean confusing and stuff, which believe me I totally get, but good yeah?"

Sonia sighs and rubs a hand over her temple. "I don't know...I mean, aside from the ball, he's really given no indication as to...vell, anything."

She buries her face in the puppy's fur, her voice muffled. "Four-hundred years, and it's not gotten any easier."

"Four hundred year? wow that's actually kinda worrying from my point of year I mean I was hoping to have worked out who I wanted to be with by like next week really!" she laughs, "only well I guess I don't actually have to. I shouldn't have said anything should I?" she asks

"Hah, don't vurry, I slept most of the time." She's lost in thought for a moment. Alucard was confusing, but at least she knew where she stood with him.

"I...thought I knew before. It didn't vurk out as I'd hoped though, what with him being the half-vampire son of my mortal enemy, and all."

She smiles now, most of the confusion and irritation gone from her face. "And no, it's okay. I'm glad you said something, it's just..." She sighs. "Vell, I guess I have to talk to him now."

Paige nods "yeah it might be an idea, I'm sure you'll work something out. I just thought you know since you clearly had no idea!"

Sonia slumps back in her chair. "I hope so. Men. Dracu."

She laughs again then sees Jonathan walk in and stops "Yeah I know what you mean there, they can't just say what they mean can they?"

Sonia follows Paige's eyes to Jonathan, and she smiles. "Yes. Exactly. Oh! I almost forgot- ve're in the same group for the music project. Do you vant to work on that later, if you have the time?"

"Oh the treasure hunt? Yeah sure that'd be cool whenever you're free, I already did bits of it so that's a start right?"
