Anakin was in the classroom early today with a clingy, fussy Juliet. Despite his best efforts, he kept looking out the window at the swirling blackness that was far too close.
When the students arrived, he was blunt: "There's very little point to pretending that you're going to be able to concentrate on anything remotely course-related today. I was a student here myself and know how stress relief around here goes: the library's open, and so is the gym, the salle, and the gun range. Don't do anything stupid. If you're not sure what you're planning is stupid, ask yourself if it's something I'd do."
And if it was, it was probably kind of stupid.
"And then don't do it. You can stay here as long as you'd like, talk to me or each other, or just be quiet. I know I'd rather not be alone right now myself."
Not that he could be with a two-year old attached to his knees.
