The students had all received ~~totally handwavey~~ instructions to come to class this morning in their pajamas -- Pinkie might not wear them herself, but she at least knew what they were -- and be prepared "for tons of fun!"

This was hopefully a sign that they wouldn't be thrown down any cliffs, but with Pinkie, it was sometimes hard to tell.

Upon entering, they'd find the Danger Shop had been configured into a cozy tree house library, with a fire place on one end of the room and a lofted sleeping area under a large circular window lining the other. Outside the window, a storm was raging.

It was a dark and stormy first period class, but at least there was hot cocoa and s'mores set up near the fire.

Pinkie came in from a side entrance when it seemed like everyone had gathered. She wore a yellow rain slicker and her umbrella hat, and shook Danger Shop rain water from her like a wet dog once she was through the door.

"Welcome back, everypony!" she said. "I hope you all had a super fantastic amazing fall break! I know I did! Wasn't the food amazing?" Pinkie had not gone on the school sponsored trip. She'd spent the entire week in town feasting on muffins. "Now that you're back, I thought this would be the perfect time to enjoy one of the great hallmarks of any friendship: the SLUMBER PARTY!" She threw her front hooves into the air, somehow setting off a rain of confetti. "Dark and gloomy times can be the best for cozying up with your favorite friends and some good party games. My friend Twilight Sparkle even loaned me one of her very favorite books to help get the class organized: Slumber Parties 101! So let's get to it!"

Scully looked entirely unsure about this too, but wasn't about to pick truth. "Dare."

"Hmmmmmm." Miley pondered. The classroom environment made dares kind of difficult. "I dare you to... I don't know. Sing something?"

Of course that was the first thing she thought of.

Why did this keep happening to her?

"Really? You don't want me to... I don't know. Try to drink something toxic?"

"Um, no?" Miley laughed. "Sorry. I'm boring. And hoarding all the nail polish remover for myself, just in case."

Was it toxic? She was pretty sure.

"You asked for it," Scully said, resigned. Then she started to sing.

"Jeremiah was a bullfrog... was a good friend of mine.... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_flhwRvelkY)"

Miley sat patiently and waited for her to finish.

And then clapped. Politely. As you do.

Scully gave her a glare, then sighed. "Yes, I know, I can't carry a tune. In a bucket with a handle." Then she remembered, "So, it's your turn now. Truth or Dare?"

"Truuuuth?" Miley ventured.

She might lie. It happened.

Hmmmmm. "What's the biggest trouble you ever got away with, at the time?" Scully said, sounding very calm and FBI. "Something your parents never found out about."

"Um." See, Disney shows usually didn't have people get away with doing bad things. "My dad... usually figures out what I've been up to," she admitted. "Oh! Except for the thing with the karaoke." She shuddered. "That was a biiig problem."

One that would give away the Hannah secret if she shared it in full. Oops?

"What was that?" Scully asked, curious. "Did you sneak into a bar?"

"N-- yes." Miley pointed at her and nodded none too convincingly. "Yep. THAT."

Uh-huh.

"You're lying now," Scully observed, mouth quirking sideways. "Aren't you? Why?"

Miley was so not accustomed to being outed, here.

"I... am not," she lied, shifting. "It was, you know. A bar. With... karaoke. And drinking."

Yes.

Scully wasn't the type to push too hard on this when there was no felony crime, but she did 'tsk-tsk' and say, "You're lucky they didn't find out, I think. Were you hungover the next morning?"

Miley didn't even know what that meant.

"Oh, you know. A little."

That was a good answer, right?

"Uh-hunh." Liiiiiiar. Scully restrained a snort. "Well. Glad it wasn't too bad, then."

"Thank you!" Miley appreciated her concern.

But didn't want to be accused of lying again. "Oh, look over there," she said, pointing.

And then in a flash, she was gone. But not like Bart. Like a regular person.
