Wednesday: What was the school board thinking giving Jamie Madrox a teaching position?
Instead of going to a classroom today, the students were directed to the third floor of the dorms where they would find the hallway teeming with Jamie-Dupes wearing labcoats and goggles. Each one of them had a clipboard, calipers, measuring tape, litmus strips, cotton swabs and all sorts of scientific goodies that they seemed to be using on all of the doorknobs on the third floor.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Jamie said stepping forward and pulling down his goggles. "Today we leave our childhood behind and step into the future. Into the grand thing we know as... SCIENCE!"
If Reed Richards knew what was going to happen next, there would be a lot of weeping for the future.
"It has long been hypothesized that the doors in the dorms have curious properties."
Um. No. They really haven't.
"In fact one might say the doorknobs of these doors... taste like bacon."
Yep. Reed Richards. Big honking tears.
"Your job is to lick these doorknobs and see if they taste like bacon. FOR SCIENCE!"
Don't expect to get a Nobel prize for this one Jamie.

Re: For SCIENCE!
He'd like to hate Seifer only for the things Seifer had actually done wrong. If Monday's text hadn't actually been meant as a taunt, then all the yelling yesterday had been his fault.
Re: For SCIENCE!
"Okay. You know what? Apology accepted, girly moment over, let us never speak of this again."
Re: For SCIENCE!
He shrugged. "Radio said you destroyed your room." He left that comment hanging. Seifer could reply to it, or not.
Re: For SCIENCE!
Seifer clenched his fist briefly, the scrapes and cuts from punching the wall stinging a bit. "Yeah. My dresser and I had some creative differences, then the nightstand got involved and the walls jumped in. It was just ugly," he joked.
Re: For SCIENCE!
He looked down at his feet for a little bit, thinking. "You should probably... talk to someone. About stuff. If you want." Not him. But Seifer had plenty of friends on Fandom, right?
Re: For SCIENCE!
"Yeah, I probably should." He was even going to admit that it had gotten pretty bad. "Mostly? I'm waiting to see how much trouble I'm in. I mean, I'm assuming they're not going to kick me out because I haven't been escorted off the island yet."

Re: For SCIENCE!
The grin disappeared rather quickly as he continued. "I kind of trashed part of my room last night."

Re: For SCIENCE!
Yeah, disobeying orders was really a difference of opinion.

Not that it had ever happened. Nope, not to Seifer.

Squall sighed, and shrugged. "You know, I'd probably have more respect for you if you acknowledged that you were just being mean because it amused you. You may have been persecuted by some teachers at Garden, but everything you got from Cid you deserved."
Re: For SCIENCE!
"The others, come on. I never did anything that would really hurt them."
