The Library is Open (10/31/05)

After harassing asking Jaye about the next hockey practice, Janet walked over to the library. She took down the sign, unlocked the library door, and quickly hid the food behind the Collections Desk for the staff. She stuck up a "do not touch" sign on the books yet to be shelved, frowned again at the scorch marks on the ceiling--Methos could clean them off himself, damn it--and sat down to pretend to work.

"Uh yeah, I can imagine." Cameron frowned. "So you went back in time or something?"

Yeah, I guess. It was...I dunno, Scotland or somethin'.

I guess it's random; I have no squallin' clue. Which is, y'know, disappointin', I was hopin' to get some swoo on it.

"Information?" guesses Janet, from nearby, where she was still pretending to work working hard.

"Ah, right." Cameron shrugs. "All I remember is that it was bright in there and really cold. Antartica cold."

"Antartica?" asks Janet. "Interesting. What's in Antarctica?"

"Ice?" Cameron asks confused. There's a memory of something that he can't place and he softly adds, "Banks."

"Lots of ice," says Janet. "But no banks. I don't think there's much call for direct depost in Antarctica."

Cameron laughs and shakes his head. "No, I don't... I don't know why I said that."

Janet grins. "Well, there has to be a reason. It'll come to you eventually"

"Yeah, probably." Cameron shrugs.

"You have a lot of neat words," says Janet. "Oooh, hey, Marty grabbed some gremlin corpses for you this weekend."

Ooh, gremlin corpses. Swerval. We can do something that doesn' involve riskin' life or limb this weekend.
