Try Not to Die!!!! [Tuesday, August 9]

There was only one Jedi waiting at the causeway for students to show up, and it wasn't Anakin.

"Hi, everyone," Tahiri said, drawing on her Jedi training to maintain a calm demeanor; no need to alarm people. "Master Skywalker can't be here today, it seems."

She gestured across the causeway to the Disney castle (then back to Fandom's castle, then back to the Disney one again with a slight shake of her head) before turning back to the students with a slight smile. "But as you might have guessed by now, that doesn't mean you won't be exploring our new location. I assure you, it's much safer than the last one." Actually, given the aggressive cheerfulness of their new neighboring locale, that might be debatable.

She cleared her throat, glanced around the group, and continued. "I advise you not to take it for granted that this will be simple, despite our surroundings, so keep that in mind, and . . ." Tahiri gestured toward the clue box as she stepped away. "Try not to die, or kill anyone else. Please."

Given some of the students in the class, and the fact that she was sending them into Disneyland, that second bit was a perfectly valid concern.

Lion-o was still working on his ice cream cone when he found Tahiri. "I like the food better here than the place we were at last week," he said. "How did I do this time?"

"Eighth," Tahiri said, grinning slightly at the ice cream cone. (She approved, okay?) "Overall, I think this place is preferable to last week."

"I might hang around to try out some more food. There was a crepe stand that I passed on the way here," said Lion-o, glad that he didn't have anything to do after class."

Tahiri laughed. "Half the class seems to want to stick around, and I don't see why not, if you're enjoying yourselves."

And not assailing the cast members for their costumes, Sam, although to be fair she hadn't checked in yet, so that hadn't presented itself as a concern.

[OOC: Yeah, it's not much less torturous if you Google it after dinner, either. That poor pint of ice cream . . .]

"It's a shame Professor Skywalker isn't here to enjoy it," said Lion-o before polishing off the last of his ice cream. Now, could he resist hitting another one of the food stands before going on Space Mountain?
