There was only one Jedi waiting at the causeway for students to show up, and it wasn't Anakin.

"Hi, everyone," Tahiri said, drawing on her Jedi training to maintain a calm demeanor; no need to alarm people. "Master Skywalker can't be here today, it seems."

She gestured across the causeway to the Disney castle (then back to Fandom's castle, then back to the Disney one again with a slight shake of her head) before turning back to the students with a slight smile. "But as you might have guessed by now, that doesn't mean you won't be exploring our new location. I assure you, it's much safer than the last one." Actually, given the aggressive cheerfulness of their new neighboring locale, that might be debatable.

She cleared her throat, glanced around the group, and continued. "I advise you not to take it for granted that this will be simple, despite our surroundings, so keep that in mind, and . . ." Tahiri gestured toward the clue box as she stepped away. "Try not to die, or kill anyone else. Please."

Given some of the students in the class, and the fact that she was sending them into Disneyland, that second bit was a perfectly valid concern.

Sam grumped up to Tahiri holding a souvenir detachable tail.

Let's hope she picked that up at a gift shop, shall we?

"I didn't think it was possible," she said, "but this place is actually worse than Dingo World."

It wasn't, actually. It wasn't pretty much exactly the same, only with slightly altered theme music and names.

The detachable tail got a slightly alarmed look from Tahiri, who wondered if she was going to have to go find a cast member and apologize later.

"And they say theme parks are supposed to be fun for the entire family," she said lightly, not voicing the unless the family is the Skywalker-Solo family, and Leia's watching kids, and then the 'fun' is relative, no pun intended that was almost instinctive after years of those escapades. "Then again, it wouldn't have been a challenge otherwise, would it? Still, eleventh isn't the worst."

[OOC: Also you made me gigglesnort audibly at work. *SHAKES FIST*]

She probably did, yes.

"Theme parks are only fun when you ride roller coasters," Sam decided. "And I would have done better if it weren't for that dumb song."

[ooc: THAT IS ONE OF MY GOALS IN LIFE.]

In that case, she'd have to consider it getting off easy if she didn't have to resort to any Jedi mind tricks to smooth things over, wouldn't she?

"It does stick with you, doesn't it?" Tahiri asked, making a face.

"It's evil," Sam decided. "This whole place is totally evil."

She meant that, as only a Nickelodeon girl could.

The specific reasons as to why went completely over Tahiri's head, but she did get the sense that it wasn't completely hyperbole. Weird.

"I don't know if I'd go that far, but . . ."
