Try Not to Die!!!! [Tuesday, August 9]
There was only one Jedi waiting at the causeway for students to show up, and it wasn't Anakin.
"Hi, everyone," Tahiri said, drawing on her Jedi training to maintain a calm demeanor; no need to alarm people. "Master Skywalker can't be here today, it seems."
She gestured across the causeway to the Disney castle (then back to Fandom's castle, then back to the Disney one again with a slight shake of her head) before turning back to the students with a slight smile. "But as you might have guessed by now, that doesn't mean you won't be exploring our new location. I assure you, it's much safer than the last one." Actually, given the aggressive cheerfulness of their new neighboring locale, that might be debatable.
She cleared her throat, glanced around the group, and continued. "I advise you not to take it for granted that this will be simple, despite our surroundings, so keep that in mind, and . . ." Tahiri gestured toward the clue box as she stepped away. "Try not to die, or kill anyone else. Please."
Given some of the students in the class, and the fact that she was sending them into Disneyland, that second bit was a perfectly valid concern.

Road Block [8/9]
Once the ever-so-cheerful ride attendants have helped you into your boat, your task is to pick out the one animatronic character in each of the rooms that's glaringly out of place. Miss one or get one wrong and you get to go around the ride again!
Good luck getting the song out of your head afterward.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
And the dolls, so she had to go around again.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
Jim almost groaned as he went through the ride once, twice...
He had no eye for what was and wasn't out of place, here. Earth was so uniform compared to Montressor! And then after the second trip through, the song had started to grit at him, and...
He was grinding his teeth by the time he managed to get past today's roadblock. He was grinding his teeth a lot.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
And now he was humming that damn song.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
She managed to get it right on the first try, and was cheerfully humming the song as she headed off to the next destination.

Re: Road Block [8/9]
Oh, how she longed to beat someone here up with a sock full of butter.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
Re: Road Block [8/9]
He also started humming the song loudly as a psychological advantage if anyone were to start catching up to him as he left the road block.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
It took him a few trips. By the last one his Vulcan calm was seriously fraying.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
Hank missed a few of the characters the first time around, because he was too busy singing along with the song.
Re: Road Block [8/9]
Not even, and the exercise was a prime opportunity to work on blocking out the distractions (though she couldn't help humming along) and spotting what was out of place.
She even managed it on a single try, which resulted in her having to apologize to the person getting out of the boat after her when her fistpump of victory clipped the woman on the side of the chin. Oooooops.
