Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Today's class room.... was a normal classroom today. Go figure.

"Hey guys," Columbus said with a sheepish look on his face. "So apparently most of everyone turned into a pony the other day. So to give you a break I'm just going to keep today's class simple:

Double-Knot your Shoes

"Oh sure. Seems simple, right? I mean why bother? Well, let's just say that an untied shoelace could lead to you being a nice little snag for a zombie horde. So double knot. It could save your life. That being said? Your assignment today is to double knot your shoes

Frowning, Cara looked down at her boots. Her laceless boots.

Surreal looked down at her own laceless leather boots, and then over at Cara's. "Does this mean we win automatically?" she asked dryly.

Cara shrugged. "I've never tripped running away from danger before," she replied, just as dryly. Of course, barring one or two occasions she usually ran towards the danger.

Surreal gave a snort of amusement. "Does anyone at this school actually run away from danger?"

Even after just a few months here, she was rather sure the answer was 'no'.
wrongkindofsith: (Oh no. We're all about to die horribly.)

Cara rolled her eyes, but not at Surreal. "Does water run uphill?"

Chuck was always the sort of guy who double-knotted his shoes.

Which didn't stop him from crouching and re-doing the laces on his Converses anyway. This was way preferable to hitting zombies.

This...didn't seem so hard. Sam was almost suspicious of how easy this was and he halfway expected some zombies to pop out from somewhere and attack. When they didn't, he knelt down and double knotted each shoe, making sure they were tight.

So, that was that.

Jack was suspicious at first, if only because his first encounter with zombies last week was unnerving. Still, he had a task which he completed as requested. Shoes officially double-knotted.

Dave tied his shoes. Double knotted and everything. Although he watched to see if any zombies were going to be let loose while everyone was looking down at their feet.
