Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

"Hi, Murray," says Janet. She smiles at him. "How was the trip?"

"Murray!" Parker nearly bounces on her toes when she sees him again.

Teal'c looks very pleased to see Janet and Parker again. He's been hugged a couple of times tonight, and goes for the hat trick with Parker. "Janet, or should I say cousin? Parker. Good to see you both. My trip was delayed, but was certainly tolerable."

Parker nearly pounced on Murray, giving him an entirely gratuitous hug. "It is *so* good to see you again. Love the headband."

Teal'c cannot help but grin at the hug. "Thank you. I believe it suits me. It is appropriate attire for the occasion, is it not?"

"Entirely," Parker says with conviction, letting him loose from the hug reluctantly, and with her hands trailing down his arms to his own. "In fact, only you could wear it so well, Murray."

"I will take that as a compliment." He nods, but raises an eyebrow quizically as Parker takes hold of his hands.

"Have you been excelling at your studies?"

"Of course. As if I could do anything else?" She gives his hands a squeeze, then lets them drop. "I look forward to seeing more of you," her smile goes wicked, "this weekend."

Teal'c's eyebrow could not possibly go higher. "I am certain that I will be around a good deal of time."

"Janet's fine," she says, smiling. "Thanks for coming. It's really nice to have you here."

"I am also filled with enjoyment to be in attendance as well. Undomesticated equines could not remove me from this location."

"I had no doubts," said Janet. "Did you get the package I sent you?"

"I did indeed." He cocks his head slightly. "May I inquire as to the significance of the 'He-Man' pattern?"

Janet grins sheepishly. "They're old cartoons. He-Man was the hero. Fought injustice, that sort of thing. I thought you'd like them."

"I see." He pauses for a moment, and then smiles. "I appreciate the thought. They cover my pillows quite efficiently."

Dear God.

Janet wondered if it was too late to start selling tickets.

"He's such a heartbreaker," Sam whispered. "Everywhere we go...like lambs to the slaughter..."

Exchanging a wry grin with Janet and Sam, Hammond then hid his grin behind a sip of his punch. "Quite the following you have there, Murray."

"I am as surprised as you are, Gene-" He coughs. "I mean, George Hammond."

"And if it's not him, it's Daniel. If it's not Daniel, it's Jack. I swear, it's like going off world with the Dating Game."

"Are you all right, ~~sir~~? Do you need a drink of water?" Sam's voice is concerned, but her eyes are twinkling with merriment. With everyone here, she is most definitely home.

Hammond clears his throat, regaining his composure. When he first attempts to speak, his voice is still raspy and rough from the cough. "No --" He pauses and clears his throat. "No, Sam. I'm fine."
