Parent Check-in

Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

He smiles at Lt Col Carter, sympathizing with her difficulties. The similarities often made it difficult to distinguish between young and old, even despite the youthful appearances. "Good night, Sam."

He looks to Janet and his expression sobers. There is a lot they need to talk about -- some MacKenzie's concern, some his own. Leaning forward, he tries to resist the urge to kiss her on the crown of her head and fails. "I'll call when I'm settled."
