Anakin was rather enjoying the movements of the island, even if this one took them to a place as hot and full of sand as Tatooine. Ugh, sand. It certainly made coming up with his class assignments more interesting.

"Welcome to Alexandria, Egypt," he said. Rory was going to love hearing where they were now. "Today's tasks will take you through this ancient city," he paused, "in its heyday."

Working in Fandom was weird. He stepped back from the clue box. "You will complete two tasks, then meet Tahiri and I somewhere in the city. Try not to die."

See Warren show up, look around to see everyone else there, and bury his face in his hand.

What you couldn't see, thanks to the magic in the bracelet that Karla had given him so that he could hide his wings, was the fact that he'd pretty much draped his wings over his head in a futile effort to hide behind those, too. Not so effective, when they were invisible.

After finishing up with his writing, Sam made his way through the market to try and find Professor Skywalker. He was actually pretty happy with his finish. He was right in the middle of the pack and was consistent from one week to another. Not bad.

"Hello, Sam, you're the ninth student to arrive," Anakin told him. "There's fruit juice for you if you're dehydrated. It's hot as Tatooine out here."

There were even less people at the meeting point when Toby arrived than there had been last week. He couldn't help but feel a little bit pleased with that. "How'd I do?"

After finishing in the library, Cara made her way to the market-place without any particular haste.

Please ignore the harried looking Alexandrian running away departing with a great deal of haste after 'guiding' her there.

Market! It would be wrong to swipe one of those melons with the teacher watching, right? Surreal looked longingly at the food vendors before flopping down on the flagstones and looking around.

Fewer people than last time! That meant she either did better, or was last and everyone had left already.

Gabrielle had inkstains all over her fingers -- and in her hair, from the couple of times she'd tried to pull some of it out in frustration at that goofy, fluffy-haired little bard who'd written the text, and maybe she was going to start coming up with different reasons to call him the Blind Bard -- by the time she finally made her way back to the market.

She lost a few more minutes stopping to haggle with a vendor over a piece of bread -- transcribing was hungry work -- but she'd made it all the way through without getting held hostage or nearly falling off a cliff or anything like that. Even if most of the class was already there by the time she arrived, she counted that as a plus.

Hurrying back to the market, Alexander felt a little bit of disappointment that he hadn't made it back first like that time, but he was glad for the people who managed to do better than he. He chuckled, having enjoyed the exercise immensely, but there was a much more important question on his mind now that it was finished.

"So, now that we've made it," he wondered, "can we go back to the library?"

There could be information there! Important information! Green Isles information!!

Damian knew several people were ahead of him by the time he finished, so he had a scowl on his face. The son of Batman should be well ahead of his classmates. "What's my result?" he demanded.

Annie had started out hoping she'd end up somewhere better than fifth place this time. When she got there, she figured she hadn't done as well as last week. She even had her disappointed face on, and was beginning to realize that this class was going to make her crazy competitive.

A tired, sweaty boy with a hand still cramping from writing out the Greek words came running up.

"Not last!" he declared. He was sure of that much at least. He was also sure if he didn't get some water he was probably going to fall over. And possibly die. Which would probably cause him to fail the course, among other problems.
