BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Emma had flown with Angelica from Logan Airport in Boston to Baltimore so she wouldn't have to make the entire trip alone, and Angelica was grateful for that. But after a hug goodbye when the time came for Emma's flight back to Massachusetts, Angelica was alone in the lounge, waiting for the bus to Fandom High. She buried her face in a book and tried not to be too nervous about changing schools, counting out the positives. She might make new friends. Empath and Roulette wouldn't be there. She might accidentally fry someone with her microwave powers.

Oooookay, that last one wasn't too positive.

"Really?" Billy said, perking up for a moment before really thinking about it. "I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I mean, on one hand, that's kind of cool. On the other hand, you know, he is kind of nuts."

"I think he's kind of nuts like the world is kind of round," Alex said, almost laughing at the thought of it. "But if he's there this place can't be Snoresville, you know?"

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I think my parents think I'm being sent to Snoresville though, so...maybe I'll leave him out of my emails home," Billy said.

"Same," Billy said, perking up more. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering how many people live there, but that's still pretty awesome."

"Oh, that's so cool! Everyone else I've talked to has been from Seattle or Colorado or whatever. And then I tell them I used to live in New Jersey and they act like I said 'Hell' or something," Alex said, rolling his eyes.

"New Jersey's not that bad. Although, you know, you did upgrade moving to New York," Billy said, thinking it might be safe to joke a little. "Still, better than having to come all the way over here from the west coast."

"Oh, I know," Alex agreed. "New York is cool. So of course I traded it in for boarding school in the middle of nowhere!" he joked.
