BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Emma had flown with Angelica from Logan Airport in Boston to Baltimore so she wouldn't have to make the entire trip alone, and Angelica was grateful for that. But after a hug goodbye when the time came for Emma's flight back to Massachusetts, Angelica was alone in the lounge, waiting for the bus to Fandom High. She buried her face in a book and tried not to be too nervous about changing schools, counting out the positives. She might make new friends. Empath and Roulette wouldn't be there. She might accidentally fry someone with her microwave powers.

Oooookay, that last one wasn't too positive.

[Up early for SP! Please wait for OCD! The Ginger Express is now in service.]

"New Jersey's not that bad. Although, you know, you did upgrade moving to New York," Billy said, thinking it might be safe to joke a little. "Still, better than having to come all the way over here from the west coast."

"Oh, I know," Alex agreed. "New York is cool. So of course I traded it in for boarding school in the middle of nowhere!" he joked.

"I'm hoping it at least won't be boring, and judging from the people here, it won't be all snotty rich kids." At least, not entirely, probably? "I'm already more optimistic than I was on the way over here."

"I was told it's definitely not a snotty rich kids kind of school," Alex assured him. "I would have taken a pass on that." Even if there was no Door Number Two.
