BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Emma had flown with Angelica from Logan Airport in Boston to Baltimore so she wouldn't have to make the entire trip alone, and Angelica was grateful for that. But after a hug goodbye when the time came for Emma's flight back to Massachusetts, Angelica was alone in the lounge, waiting for the bus to Fandom High. She buried her face in a book and tried not to be too nervous about changing schools, counting out the positives. She might make new friends. Empath and Roulette wouldn't be there. She might accidentally fry someone with her microwave powers.

Oooookay, that last one wasn't too positive.

[Up early for SP! Please wait for OCD! The Ginger Express is now in service.]

Summer was leaving the driving to Reno. She wasn't sure if that was against her better judgement or not, but she was going with positive thoughts. Only time would tell.

If they needed to switch at any time, Summer would be more than happy to oblige. For now, she'd keep an eye on the new students and answer any questions they might have for her. Next stop, Fandom High

Mercy nodded at the other adult as she headed for a seat. "Hey," she said softly.

"Hi," Summer replied. "Welcome aboard the Fandom High shuttle," she added, smiling warmly. "It shouldn't be too bad of a ride."

She was mostly teasing. Then again, Reno was driving, so who knew what might happen.

"Thanks," Mercy said. "Are you one of the teachers too?"

"I am," she nodded. "My name's Summer Pitt. I'll be hosting a workshop on surfing," she explained. If the weather decided to cooperated, that is. "Are you looking forward to your time at our school?"

"A little more after talking to Reno," Mercy admitted. "But I'm mostly reserving judgement.

"A wise decision," Summer approved. "Fandom certainly has its perks. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask. That's what I'm here for."

Mercy nodded. "Thanks. Right now I don't even know enough to know what to ask."

"You're welcome," Summer replied. "I'm sure you'll have plenty of questions when you see it for yourself. I know I did."

"I probably will," Mercy said with a rueful grin.

"This is the shuttle to the school, right?" Freddie asked, luggage in tow. He gave a pleasant smile.

"This is the shuttle to Fandom, yes," Summer nodded, returning the smile in kind. "I feel as though I should say welcome aboard." Echoing Reno's statement, of course.

"It's not filled with kids that should be in juvie, right?" Freddie asked.

This was important.

He was worried. A little.

Well that was something she'd never expected to get asked.

"No, not at all," she shook her head, somewhat amused by that question. Summer was fairly certain Principal Winchester had a in depth screening process when it came to applicants, anyway. "All the students I've taught have been good kids. I'm pretty sure we're continuing the tradition."
