BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Emma had flown with Angelica from Logan Airport in Boston to Baltimore so she wouldn't have to make the entire trip alone, and Angelica was grateful for that. But after a hug goodbye when the time came for Emma's flight back to Massachusetts, Angelica was alone in the lounge, waiting for the bus to Fandom High. She buried her face in a book and tried not to be too nervous about changing schools, counting out the positives. She might make new friends. Empath and Roulette wouldn't be there. She might accidentally fry someone with her microwave powers.

Oooookay, that last one wasn't too positive.

Oh yaaaaay. A shuttle filled with other people forced to go to summer camp instead of enjoy their summer like a normal person.

At least it wasn't little league anymore.

Stan dropped his bag, taking a seat on it to wait.

Mercy nodded at him. "Hey."

Stan nodded back, keeping his cool. Even though there was a girl. "Hey."

"You on your way to this Fandom place?"

"Barring the shuttle crashing and us all ending up in the woods... yeah." It could happen. And possibly had happened.

Sigh.

Mercy blinked at him. "Well, that's a cheerful thought." She couldn't quite keep her hand from going ro the lamb necklace she always wore.

"And then a horrible monster eating anyone who gets off the bus would be the cheerful part," Stan added.

That almost got a laugh out of her. She'd grown up with the 'horrible monsters' and if they showed up, she could always outrun them.

"Stan?"

With a small amount of gawking, Butters was at first surprised, and then incredibly pleased to see a familiar face among the crowd of unknown people. "O-oh, boy, Stan! I didn't know your parents were sending you away to camp, too! W-what did you do? I haven't been able to figure it out yet, but, you know, I get everything wrong, it could be anything! Hey, maybe we can be Acountabilibuddies! This...this sure is excitin', hey, Stan?"

"Butters?" Why did it have to be Butters and not, like, Kyle? Other than the Jersey thing standing in the way. "You're going to Fandom too?"

"Well, yeah!" Butters laughed at such a silly question. He wouldn't be here if he wasn't going! "Well, now, this isn't going to be so bad after all! Seems whenever I go to camp by myself, people just tend to kill themselves an awful lot."

"Oh, well, you know," said Butters, starting to fidget as he realized that Stan might not know all that much about Camp New Grace. "Sometimes, when the campers can't seem to, er, uh, you know...

Well, considering Butters came out to him with that fruity little outfit back in the 4th grade, this wasn't that shocking.

"Yeah, it's not bad. Hopefully they have TV there. I don't want to miss the newest season of Terrance and Phillip. Even if they have gotten kinda preachy and political."

"Y-yeah," Butters agreed. "But they sure have gotten good! It would suck if we couldn't watch them. Oh, boy, I heard the first episode's gonna be a real doozy!"

Because you could do soooo much with fart jokes...

UM. DUH.

"Oh, yeah! I saw the previews. It's gonna be sweet."

Butters hated to be the bearer of bad news, especially since bad news usually meant he'd be stuck having to do something not exactly fun, but the question nagged at him until he asked it.

"What are we gonna do if they don't have it, though, Stan?"

"...don't even think that, Butters. Don't even."

"But, Stan!" Butters objected. "Some of these camps, they don't let you watch TV! They say it can be a...a bad influence!"

"Then we break out and find one. Remember the preview for the second movie?"

With Tugger.

"Y-yeah," said Butters, sounding none too pleased and quite like someone had signed his death warrant already, "that night when I-I had to go and buy tampons for your sister."

"Butters, don't be a pussy. It turned out just fine."

"....Yeah," Butters said, after a moment, and a big grin slowly making its way onto his face, and then a chuckle. "One of the best previews I ever seen, too! Boy! You remember how awesome it was? It was almost better even than the movie! I guess it was totally worth it."

Stan's sister was still a total big stupid bitch, though...

Shelley would always be a bitch, though. It was like his dad being a moron.

"See? I'm sure things will be fine." No, he hadn't noticed the number of gingers.

"Well, okay," said Butters, though he still sounded pretty dubious. "Jus' so long as I don't have to pick up anyone's tampons again. Someone else can...get the tampons this time, gosh darn it."
