Study Hall -- Friday, October 28th

Sarah isn't in the room, but the words "Help yourself" have been hastily scribbled on the blackboard. There's a stereo playing incredibly random music on her desk, along with some junk food and pizza, a TV with a video game hookup, and a pool table that has almost magically appeared in the corner. The puppies are wide awake and playing under Sarah's desk. It's almost as if she's bribing the students.

(OOC: My job sucks. Still not done yet. *headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*)

Bridge wanders in, still wearing the pink bedsheet-toga from last night, and grabs a slice of pizza and can of Coke.

"Hey guys," he mumbles sleepily.

"Yo," Cameron says, definitely distracted by the pink.

Rogue looks at Bridge's pink toga. "Toga party?" she asks.

"Nah. That whole master/slave assignment for Ethics class. You hear about that at all?"

"I think everyone's heard about it." She looks him over. "Who's makin' you wear a pink toga?"

"Well, she didn't make me so much as not give me anything else to wear. So I improvised." He shrugged.

"You actually went through with that?"

"Yep." Bridge shrugs. "Sort of reminded me of hazing during my first week at the Academy. Except for the part where I had to go buy girlie things."

"Girlie things?" Cameron makes a face. "That's... awkward."

"Oh yeah. I can't decide whether the toga made it more or less awkward, though."

"You had to go buy girlie things in a pink toga? Oh, sugah, I'm sorry."

"At least it's overwith. And after today I shall never speak of it again."

"Uh, I'm glad I ditched the assignment. I was supposed to be a master, though."

"Yeah, I thought about ditching it myself. But I couldn't come up with anything I could do for a make-up assignment so I decided to just go ahead with it."

"She would have assigned you something, but I ditched that too and she finalyl said I could pick any topic I liked later on." Cameron explains and looks sheepish. "But then I kinda dropped the class today."

"Why'd you drop it?" Bridge asks, his curiousity getting the best of him.

"Carson. The outfits get more interesting by the day."

"Well, it's not on *purpose* this time," Bridge makes a face.

"This wouldn't have anything to do with that ethics assignment everybody's been freaking over, would it?"

Bridge sighs. "Got it in one, dude. It wasn't too bad, except for the fact that she made me go to the grocery store and get girly things. And didn't give me any clothes, so I had to use this-" he tugs at the bedsheet, "and oh yeah, I had to sleep in her doorway."

"Oh, frak, man. And I thought I had a rough night." He eyes his cup of coffee for a moment, then slides it over onto Bridge's desk. "A pink toga. Are there no standards any more?"

"Coffeeeeeee..." Bridge says thankfully. "And I dunno man. I think face-punching outdoes having to wear a bedsheet."

"Well, yeah, but the buying girly things at the grocery store?"

"True. If I ever see the word "absorbency" again it'll be too soon." Bridge shudders.
