Study Hall -- Friday, October 28th

Sarah isn't in the room, but the words "Help yourself" have been hastily scribbled on the blackboard. There's a stereo playing incredibly random music on her desk, along with some junk food and pizza, a TV with a video game hookup, and a pool table that has almost magically appeared in the corner. The puppies are wide awake and playing under Sarah's desk. It's almost as if she's bribing the students.

Never one to object to a bribe, Lilly grabs some pizza and soda and flicks the tv to MTV.

"My god, the girls on Making the Band get worse every season. Fire them all, Diddy!" she says to the screen.

Phoebe grabs the same puppy she has spent the last few days playing with and goes to the back of the room.

Han comes in, obviously looking for someone. He grabs a slice of pizza and sits down where he can see both doors and then pretends to read while he watches them.

Rogue walks in, carrying just one notebook. She looks at the food nervously, then shrugs and slides a couple pieces of pizza on her plate. She takes a seat near the Principal, and one of the puppies follows her, playing with her feet.

Paige picks up the same puppy as yesterday and hugs it "you love me right?" she asks as she goes to a desk

"Here's to hoping the pizza doesn't make us sing," Cameron grins as she sits down at a table near Rogue. He's got his own plate of pizza and looks down at the puppy that's still playing at her feet.

George walks in with a weary look on her face, carrying her notebook and a cup of coffee. Her Journalism class is cancelled for the day, and she knows if she stays in her dorm room she'll spend more time watching television rather than working on her article for the Hightimes. She takes a seat in the back of the room, well away from everyone else, and begins to go over her notes.

Rogue grins. She's eating her pizza with a knife and fork. "God, I hope so. Though I'd be interested in knowin' which genre they'd have has singin' from this time. We already did Billy Joel and ABBA."

Cameron thinks on it as he takes a bite from his slice. "Sinatra? Or is that more of a spaghetti kind of thing?"

"Yeah, Sinatra's much more sophisticated than pizza." She ponders. "Maybe New Kids on the Block? I feel like they're a pizza kind of group."

"Yeah, I was kinda going with the Italian theme, but that could work better." He winces at the thought. "Man, that would hurt. Especially if you've got to greet your parents like that."

Piper wanders into study hall, grabs a slice of pizza and watches the puppies. They distract her from going over her school work.

Rogue giggles as the puppy nips at her feet. "Now you stop that," she mutters. "Yeah, that'd be /awful/. I think Logan'd think I went batty here." She takes another bite of pizza. "You have parents comin' in?"

Belthazor watched Phoebe with the puppy and started to wonder what the school policy on pets was.

"Logan Echolls?" Cameron asks as he tears a small piece from the pizza and holds it out to the puppy. It pads over, wolfs the pizza down and goes right back to Rogue again. "No, my mom wanted to come but with dad down with the flue I told her I'd rather she'd stay with him. You?"

As Hank walks in, he bends down to scratch behind the ears of a few of the puppies and grabs a Coke. When hee spots the pool table over in the corner, his eyes light up and he heads over.

After racking up the balls, he carefully inspects and selects a cue, chalks it and starts playing solo. He's obviously enjoying himself.

Anders shuffles in with his coffee, sits near Cameron and Rogue, and sips it gingerly around the cut in his lip.

Rogue laughs around a bite of pizza. The shaking of her legs intrigues the puppy, who starts stalking her feet. Once she's swallowed, she says, "Oh no, I forget there's other Logans here. Logan's my, uh, guardian. He's comin' in to visit. It's too bad your folks can't make it." The puppy has gotten a hold of her shoelace and is tugging on it. She leans under the table and pets it. "Silly puppy."

Rogue looks up at Anders. "Whoa. What happened to your lip?"

"Dude, these girls are way too good at hitting us." Cameron winces as he looks at Anders' lip.

"Ah sorry, Rogue." He gives Rogue an apologetic smile.

"That's cool," Cameron looks in amusement at the puppy. "He likes you."
