Study Hall -- Friday, October 28th

Sarah isn't in the room, but the words "Help yourself" have been hastily scribbled on the blackboard. There's a stereo playing incredibly random music on her desk, along with some junk food and pizza, a TV with a video game hookup, and a pool table that has almost magically appeared in the corner. The puppies are wide awake and playing under Sarah's desk. It's almost as if she's bribing the students.

Anders takes another sip and smiles grimly. "Kara Thrace."

Rogue nods. "I can see that. What didja do to deserve it?"

"I dared her to hit me?" He shrugs. "Can't get into a conversation with her any more without it getting out of control. Especially with Adama around."

Rogue frowns. "Why'd you dare Kara Thrace to hit you? She's scary!" The puppy has decided Rogue's feet are boring, and start attacking Anders' shoelaces.

"It's what they call stupidity," Cameron pipes up.

"Generally, stupidity is dangerous. 'Specially around people who, you know, like to hit people." She frowns, not sure that came out quite right.

Cameron snorts and nods in agreement, it makes perfect sense to him as stupidity is what got him hit too. "I'll try to keep it in mind."

Anders scowls and tosses a gumball at Cameron, but gently.

Cameron smirks and catches the gumball and pockets it.

Anders can't help grinning a little bit at the puppy. "She pissed me off? I don't get it. We get along great sometimes and other times, man, not at all."

Rogue leans in conspiratorially. "I'll let you guys in on a little secret. I'm really not supposed to, girl code of honor and all, but I think y'all have paid your dues in pain and sufferin'. And can't tell anyone I told you this. They'd kick me out of the sisterhood." She pauses dramatically.

Anders nods solemnly back. "Not a word to anyone."

Definitely intrigued, Cameron leans in a bit closer. "Alright..."

Rogue takes a deep breath. "Girls are crazy." She pauses, smirking and watching their reactions.

Cameron blinks and stares at her. "You know, it's amazing that I didn't draw that conclusion already. Here I was thinking it was me." He rolls his eyes.

Anders nods slowly, his expression deadpan. "Some more than others, but definitely, yeah."

"Dude, these girls are way too good at hitting us." Cameron winces as he looks at Anders' lip.

"Ah sorry, Rogue." He gives Rogue an apologetic smile.

Rogue shrugs. "No offence taken. I'm glad my girls can defend themselves. Or, you know, take out agression on unwitting males." She says the last with a wink.

"Oh yeah, me too." Cameron nods and rubs his cheek which might have gotten hit very recently.

Anders scowls. "I think it was contagious last night, man. To top it all off, after Kara decked me Cally tried to go after her and I got in the way."

Cameron blinks. "Sounds like one fun evening, man."

Anders looks at him tiredly. "Oh yeah. She got all upset about accidentally hitting me. And you know what it's like dealing with Cally when she's crying."

Cameron knows all too well and nods. "It's like kicking a puppy."

"No kidding. If there's anything I hate to see . . ." Anders grimaces. "I felt horrible."

"You're the one who got hit!" Cameron shrugs. "I'm sure you were the right guy to comfort her."
