Study Hall -- Friday, October 28th

Sarah isn't in the room, but the words "Help yourself" have been hastily scribbled on the blackboard. There's a stereo playing incredibly random music on her desk, along with some junk food and pizza, a TV with a video game hookup, and a pool table that has almost magically appeared in the corner. The puppies are wide awake and playing under Sarah's desk. It's almost as if she's bribing the students.

"Well, it's not on *purpose* this time," Bridge makes a face.

"This wouldn't have anything to do with that ethics assignment everybody's been freaking over, would it?"

Bridge sighs. "Got it in one, dude. It wasn't too bad, except for the fact that she made me go to the grocery store and get girly things. And didn't give me any clothes, so I had to use this-" he tugs at the bedsheet, "and oh yeah, I had to sleep in her doorway."

"Oh, frak, man. And I thought I had a rough night." He eyes his cup of coffee for a moment, then slides it over onto Bridge's desk. "A pink toga. Are there no standards any more?"

"Coffeeeeeee..." Bridge says thankfully. "And I dunno man. I think face-punching outdoes having to wear a bedsheet."

"Well, yeah, but the buying girly things at the grocery store?"

"True. If I ever see the word "absorbency" again it'll be too soon." Bridge shudders.

"This just reinforces my idea that girls = scary."

He tilts his head thoughtfully. "Well. Most girls. Some are okay."

"Didn't I just tell y'all that?" Rogue grins cheekily.

"I bow to your feminine wisdom," Bridge says with a smirk. "Hey, I don't think we've actually been really introduced yet," he sticks out a gloved hand, "Bridge Carson."

"You're right, we haven't. I'm Rogue." She takes his hand in hers. "Just remember that all girls are crazy deep down, and you'll be alright." She winks and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear with a red-gloved finger.

Bridge nods seriously, "I will. And am I right in thinking those aren't just a fashion statement?" he asks in reference to the gloves.

Rogue looks down at her hands. "No, not exactly. Though they do make me look all mysterious, don't they?" She smiles, looks just a touch uncomfortable.

Bridge smiles. "Yeah, I know how it is. Though for some reason I can never manage to pull off 'mysterious'. Could be the hair." he says, ruffling a hand through his currently sticking-up-in-multiple-directions hair.

Rogue snorts as she tries to hold in a laugh. "Well, that might be it." She fails and starts giggling. "It's not bad hair, cute actually, just, you know, not mysterious."
