Library [03, 13]

After meeting Raven's siblings yesterday, Jonothon was hell-bent on being entirely productive today in the library.

Productive in that he was going to focus on people that didn't make him want to put a fist through things, and so he was rounding up whatever comic books he could find in the library's collection, in preparation for a possible visit from Bobby's guests. Because the prospect of reading about the Y-People and Ratman to little Leech and Artie was a far more pleasant one than the urge he had to stomp off after Lust, Envy, and Wrath in order to kick the three of them in the--

Oooh, Spider-Ham. The kids would probably enjoy that one.

"Change voices, Jono," Leech coached helpfully. Because when you were reading dialogue aloud you had to have a different voice for each character! Even if your voice was telepathic to start with.

Jono glanced at Leech thoughtfully at the request, and then nodded, putting a touch more effort into his telepathy, trying something new. He had no idea if he'd be able to pull it off, but...

//You won't get away with this, Puzzler,// he growled, sounding exactly like the Ratman from the movies. //I am... the rat.//

And then he glanced at the boys, looking for some kind of approval. Apparently, Jono did some pretty impressive impersonations. The joy of not being limited by vocal cords...

Which they offered in the way of approving claps. Jono, they felt, was a very quick learner.

Ah, applause. Jonothon had lived for it, back when he'd still been able to perform for audiences. He'd take it here and now, from the two boys. If they thought that his Ratman was good, just wait until they heard his Puzzler impression!
