Shop Class #4

Hey guys. Today I'm turning over the remote to Carter and she's going to be running the class today.

And *NO* that does mean you get to run amok. (I'm looking at you O'Neill!)

Show her the same respect you do me. Or in O'Neill's case more than you have for me.

Mac hands the remote to Carter and lets her explain today's assignment.

"Er, anyone want to pair up?" Rogue has a large glass of iced tea in her hand, trying in vain to look completley awake.

"Since it's part of the assignment, why not?" Krycek nods to Rogue. "Alex Krycek. I don't know many people in this class yet."

Rogue smiles. "I know a few--Cally and I are pretty good friends." She shifts her cup to her left hadn, and offers her right to Krycek. "I'm Rogue."

"Nice to meet you." He glances at CallynAnders and smirks, amused. "That's her, right? With the permanently attached boyfriend? Radio seems to like them a lot."

Turning to look at the bombs waiting to be defused, he makes a gesture for her to precede him. "So, shall we get to it?"

"That would be the one. Haven't seen her much outside of class lately," she says with a shrug.

Rogue finishes her tea and tosses the cup in the trash. "Yeah, I guess. So, there's instructions under the bomb. And it moves." She pauses. "So, theoretically, the smaller of us should read it to the other one, who writes it down? Then decode it when someone's not in mortal peril? Or somethin' like that."

"Since the bomb moves, it's probably not a good idea to get beneath it," he says, studying it. "One of us could get beneath and read it out, but there's no guarantee they'd be able to get out from under it should it move down quickly." He pulls out a notepad and a pen, but still watches the bomb, lips pursed thoughtfully.

"Damn. If only we had like...a polariod camera or digital camera or somethin'. We could take a picture and then decode out here, safely." She looks around. "You think if we asked for one the shop would provide it? I mean, if you're spyin' or somethin', you'd probably have a camera of some sort." She taps her finger against her chin.

"I suppose it couldn't hurt to ask the assistant," Krycek replies, nodding. "Do you want to, or shall I?"

When Rogue says she will, since the camera was her idea, Krycek decides to go pick up one of the handouts as Rogue goes to ask Carter.

"She said no," Rogue says, a little sad. "See, if I wore makeup, I'd have a makeup mirror, but I don't." She sits on the floor, pondering.

"And neither do I," Krycek says, pondering. Walking over to the bomb, he eyes it warily as he crouches and then lies down on his stomach to look at the writing beneath. "I can read it out and you can write it down? I think I can see enough this way."

"Sounds like a plan." She pulls out a pen and pad of paper and waits.
