Glee Club, Music Room, Thursday Afternoon [ 01/27 ].

There was no doubt that Ariel was definitely excited to have Glee Club start up again; you could see it not only in the spread of drinks and snacks she had ready, but the fact that she'd gotten there really early to get it all set up and play a little bit of piano to make sure it was in tune as if she knew how to actually tune a piano but she could tuna fish!. But, eventually, hopefully, people would start showing up and then she could get things started.

"Hi, everyone!" Ariel veritably bounced at them as she waved. "Welcome back to Glee Club, unless you're new, in which case, regular welcome! It's the first day back after the break, so all we're going to do today is a little bit of singing and a little bit of talking about what we'd like to do this semester. Do we want to do another performance? Should we maybe look into some competitions? Have a karaoke night at Caristas? Anything in particular you'd like to sing more of this semester? All that kind of stuff! But first!

"Singing! Just like last time, let's each introduce ourselves through song! Let everyone know who you are, why you're here, and then pick a song, any song at all, that you'd like to sing. It could tell something about you, or be your favorite song, or even just be the song you had stuck in your head when you woke up this morning. Anything you want! Who wants to go first?"

With the exception of just a few bites, Alexander found himself sticking to just a cup of tea; it seemed to be the thing on chilly weather days, and it helped with his singing voice, besides.

Quinn's selection (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOrqDx5dOp4) didn't exactly get points for originality -- she'd seen it on American Idol about 500 times -- but it was still a good song, and it fit her voice.

Besides, it was the truth. She could (and would) have quibbled about a few details in how things were for her day to day, but for the most part ...

Well, Ariel hadn't heard it, and she hadn't heard it from Quinn, either, but she liked it and so she was definitely applauding for the other girl when she was finished. "I really like that song," she said happily. "Nice choice, Quinn."

Ellie was tired of winter, which sort of made her miss home a little. So she sang a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0UcQDUR-fU) about it.

Giggling a little as she applauded Ellie's performance, Ariel couldn't help asking, "A little sick of the cold, I take it?"

Now, Ariel remembered singing this particular song before, but, lately, she felt it was a good one to reprise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-MnaBCxHd8):

Ariel wasn't the only one who was a sucker for certain types of songs, and Alexander had one that would easily peg him as a dork, but he was already in Glee Club again, what did he have to lose? So he sang (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-g55i9FCWjM) thankfully without Robby Benson crazy eyes omg:
