Advanced Driver's Ed, Monday Period Two

Bond had *handwavily* informed his students to come and meet him in the Danger Shop, where he was waiting on a deserted stretch of road beside a sleek, gleaming car.

"Good morning, class," Bond began once the class had assembled. "My name is Professor Bond, and this is Advanced Driver's Education, I would hope you all have the basics of driving down, but given how often paperwork errors crop up if any of you do not actually know how to drive a car, please see my assistant Mr Reese," he nodded in Kyle's direction. "And he'll make arrangements to help you catch up. Normally this class would be where we have introductions but given the relatively small size of the class, and the fact I've taught all but two of you before, I believe we can forgo those and do something a bit more interesting."

He gestured to the car. "This is the Aston Martin DBS," Bond explained, pausing a moment to let them admire the car. He pressed a control and it began raining. "This is a road in the rain. Over the course of this class you will gain an intense appreciation for working breaks, and you will start by taking this car, driving as fast as you can, and then trying to stop without spinning off the road. With one of your fellow students a passenger. Thanks to the safety protocols, no harm will come to any of you in here, but if you attempt this out in the real world you will most likely die. Horribly."

He grinned and clapped his hands together. "So who wants to go first."

"I didn't think you were." Yep, he remembered the punching thing, but hey, the other guy probably deserved it. "How's Thursday for a driving lesson?"

"I'm not good at reading," Kyle admitted. "I'll just show you and tell you what to do and we'll work it out."

Nico breathed a sigh of relief. "My reading skills are total crap, so that's totally for the best. I'm much more of a hands-on guy."

"Me too." He was completely oblivious to any dirtiness, what with being Kyle Reese and all. "Meet back here after classes finish on Thursday? I'll work it out with Mr. Bond so we can use the room."

"Great. I'll go talk to Mr. Bond and see if he can change the car for you for today so you'll only have to use the pedals and wheel."

"Oh, awesome! I'll get ready to take my turn," Nico said, grinning at the thought of just pounding his foot on the accelerator and zooming down the road. "Thanks, Kyle."
