Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part III

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables had been set up further out on the lawn, away from the school building. The bonfires were going strong, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. Assuming they weren't too busy still trying to figure this place out.

"That looks like a 'just got a blowjob' smile," Nathan observed, ice cream cone in hand. He didn't care that it was cold. "How about helping a guy out and pointing out which girl got on her knees for you already?"

Leo stood there blinking for a moment, making sure the guy said what he thought he said. He was a frequent inhabitant of delinquent schools, he had heard people talk like that before, but never out of nowhere like this.

"You need to work on your smile reading, dude," Leo said calmly. "This is just a regular smile. If anything it's a 'just enjoyed cocoa' smile."

"Boring," Nathan said, rolling his eyes. "You could have at least lied to me, man. Now I just think you're a giant girl. Fucking cocoa, really? Are you gonna have a cup while knitting a shawl and watching fucking Are You Being Served?"

"...I don't get the BBC." That was the only answer Leo had to that. "What's wrong with cocoa? It's delicious."

"It's fucking cocoa, man!" Nathan thought that explained it all. "It's what my grandmother mixed her laxative with! It's old lady drink. So, unless you're an old lady or an old lady fucker, you shouldn't drink cocoa."

Nathan paused and gave Leo an appraising look.

"Are you an old lady fucker?"

"No!" he said immediately. "I'm a nobody...that."

He could barely talk to a girl, much less fuck them.

"So, what you're telling me is that...you're a virgin?" Nathan announced probably louder than necessary. "Never had the willy wanked, have you? How unfortunate, my man."

Leo looked around and ducked his head a little, wishing he could light this dude on fire. "What do you care, dude? Shouldn't you be concerned with getting yourself laid?"

"Oh, that'll happen in due time," he said, waving a hand. "Right now, I'm just being the friendly neighborhood welcome wagon. You new too? I'm Nathan."

See, he'd even gotten his name out this time. That was progress, right? Probably not. He just wanted to know this dude's name so he could further embarrass him now and in the future.

"Leo." Why did he say his real name? "Aren't welcome wagons supposed to be the old kids' job?"

Nathan, showing no personal boundaries of any kind, went and draped an arm around Leo's shoulders. Yeah, Leo was bigger and more muscular but Nathan just didn't give a damn.

"Tell me, Leo, have any of them tried to welcome you like I have?"

"Definitely not," Leo said, eyeing the arm Nathan had around his shoulders. Now he really hoped he didn't get mad and catch on fire. "I suppose you're proud of that, yeah?"

Leo thought he'd never find someone more annoying than he was. Turns out he was wrong.

"Proud's one way to put it," Nathan said, surveying the crowd. "So, Leo, fellow new kid, what do you think? Is there anyone worth shagging in this crowd?"

"I, uh..." Should he really answer that question? Leo felt like Piper or Aphrodite would punch him in the back of the head if he said anything. "...doesn't it really depend on your taste?"

"Hot's hot, isn't it, man?" Nathan asked, glancing at Leo. "If they're hot, you're not going to be shy about letting them get on your cock, are you? That'd just be stupid, man."

"You seem very self-confident in your ability to get chicks, dude," Leo said, feeling himself relax a little more the longer he was around Nathan. "I'm surprised you haven't found someone already."

"Well, my roommate wants me," Nathan said, shrugging a shoulder and laughing. "I'd offer to share but dude, she's blonde and tossed me around like a rag doll. You know the shagging's gotta be good with someone like that."

Nathan waggled his eyebrows and even gave his hips a little thrust to illustrate what he thought of his hottie of a roommate.

"Who'd you get stuck with, Leo? Hot girl or sausage fest?"

Gods help him. This dude was a weirdo.

"Hot girl," Leo said, suddenly glad Ramona was a girl so he didn't have to say the words 'sausage fest'. "Her name's Ramona. She has pink hair."

"Pink hair?" Nathan repeated, looking thoughtful. "Think the carpet matches the drapes?"

Leo raised an eyebrow at Nathan. "I sincerely doubt they match. I mean, she said she liked dyeing her hair but I doubt she goes that far..."

"Well, that's something you should find out," Nathan decided, giving Leo's chest a few manly pats. "Think you can do that without getting accused of sexual harassment?"

He snapped and pointed at Leo like he'd just had an epiphany. "Tell her it's for science!"

"You tell her that if you're so curious." Way to throw Ramona under the bus, Leo. "I gotta live with this chick, dude."

"Oh, that means you can't do it," Nathan said, completely ignoring Leo's suggestion. "Hey, no sweat. Guess it would take someone with experience to get a girl to do that and since you're all pure and shit, you wouldn't have that."

Leo rolled his eyes. "Are you attempting to upset me with all that crap, dude?"

"No, of course not!" He actually really wasn't. "I'm trying to bait you into doing it by insulting your masculinity. Is it working?"
