BWI Portalocity Lounge [Sunday morning]
While Ramona had seen a lot of things, and traveling by portal hadn't really freaked her out or anything, she still wasn't really feeling great about being here. Maybe making an impulse decision to go to Maryland (of all places) hadn't been her best move.
In any case, though, she was here now, and there wasn't really a reason for her to turn back without giving it at least a day or so. So she lounged against the wall under the sign for Fandom High in the lounge, her bags by her feet as she waited for the shuttle.
[OCD coming up shortly! OCD IS UP WHEEE NEWBIES.]

Re: Wait for the shuttle!
At least Bruce had supplied her with new -- but not overtly expensive-looking -- luggage for the trip; apparently her beat-up old gym bags wouldn't do.
She was slouched against the wall, looking over the schedule of classes Bruce had signed her up for; she still wasn't thrilled about this whole situation, not being able to keep an eye on Gotham herself, but . . . well. This stuff could be useful.
This might not be so bad after all -- she could give it a shot.
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
Seriously, what the hell was that all about?
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
"Hi," she answered, smiling back; not her most genuine, but she was trying. "New Fandom High kid too?"
So much for boarding school being the exclusive province of the upper crust?
Famous last mental-voice words.
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
"Yeah," he admitted, scooting closer for an actual conversation to not be shouted. "I'm Tony."
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
"Stephanie," she answered, holding a hand out. "How much do you know about this place?"

"That's about all I heard, too," you know, aside from all the parts that were relevant to the secret-identity-vigilanteing business. Steph waved a hand jauntily. "Pfft. Orthodox is so passe these days, anyway."

She had a pretty good feeling that was a sign Fandom wouldn't be anything like Brentwood Academy, which was fine with her; Tim had seemed pretty miserable there.
Things might be looking up already.

A Wayne Enterprises prototype maybe, sure. But this commonplace?

Not that she was mentioning helping Huntress chase Daddy Dearest through the wreckage.
"But anyway. Do you know who you're supposed to be living with yet? They haven't told me."

"Oooh, my bad. Here I thought I should be prepared for the place before I got there," she grumbled, flailing somewhat ineffectually back at her schedule. "I didn't realize flying blind was part of the learning experience!"
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
Hank peered at the schedule, trying to figure it out.
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
The stunt piloting thing got a slight eyeroll out of her, because she was still sore about not getting to learn how to fly the Batplane.
"If it is, I didn't get signed up for it. I heard there was a class on spaceships last semester, though." She made a swipe at her schedule again. "Hey, weren't you the one who just said there was something wrong with reading?"
Re: Wait for the shuttle!
"Yeah, but I thought you were reading, like, a book or something. That's just your schedule."

Like jump through hoops to impress her boss. Hush.
"But I got an opportunity, coming here, and I don't want to waste it. Though if you want to do that, hey, be my guest."
